Key Responsibilities:
Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective service.
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with our menu specifications.
Oversee the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met and maintained.
Assist in ordering, inventory control, and maintaining stock levels for your section.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section at all times.
Ensure that every dish is presented to the highest quality and consistency.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Jr Sous Chef or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Passion for food and a creative approach to cooking.
Strong communication and team-working abilities.
Culinary degree or equivalent training is preferred but not required.
