CCDS is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and drive alumni engagement initiatives and events at the College while contributing to the University’s broader strategic objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Office of Alumni Engagement (OAE) and other relevant stakeholders to cultivate and maintain a thriving community of alumni, fostering a lifelong, mutually beneficial relationship with CCDS and NTU. Additionally, this role will supervise the CCDS UG Internship Administration Team—a new function within CCDS—and explore synergies between student internship programmes and alumni engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
Alumni Engagement & Network Development
Lead and manage the CCDS Alumni Association's operations and strategic initiatives.
Design and execute engaging alumni events, seminars, and themed activities, such as homecoming celebrations, class reunions, and professional networking sessions.
Develop and implement programs that support alumni's professional growth and continuous learning.
Create and maintain pathways for alumni philanthropy.
Establish and nurture relationships with alumni through strategic communication and engagement initiatives.
Student Mentorship Programmes
Collaborate with the Student Care team to develop and maintain alumni mentorship programmes.
Track and refine programme effectiveness.
Undergraduate Internship Administration
Identify and leverage synergies between alumni networks and internship opportunities.
Supervise the undergraduate internship team operations, ensuring effective programme development and student support.
Operations and Governance
Manage budget and resources for alumni engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with university regulations governing alumni activities.
Monitor program effectiveness through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
Monitor, evaluate, and report on outcomes of various activities with a view to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Proven experience in alumni/stakeholder relations, advancement, events/vendor management and community or professional network engagement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
Ability and willingness to collaborate within a team in a fast-paced environment while also working independently and being self-motivated.
Experience in managing and executing webinars, and engagement programmes, preferably in an alumni relations or higher education setting.
An understanding of the higher education landscape or professional/industry associations is preferred.
Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and stewardship will be a distinct advantage.
