Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, transformation and execution of cybersecurity strategy for clients and reports to the Cyber Transformation Team Lead, under the Head of Advisory.
  • Work with team members, other functional teams in Ensign and clients to translate strategic, operational and project objectives of clients into tangible cybersecurity outcomes with business context to support service delivery and business development efforts.
  • Interview business and technology stakeholders from the clients across technology and cyber operations, governance and risk management domains,
  • Review documentation related to the above-mentioned domains and analyse insights from interviews.
  • Develop hypothesis for areas of improvements based on people, process, technology, risk and governance perspectives.
  • Develop strategic and detailed recommendations and initiatives based on people, process, technology and governance perspectives.
  • Structure initiatives into roadmaps to ensure alignment of cybersecurity to business direction in a sustainable manner.
  • Develop documentation such as frameworks, policies, procedures, standards, baselines, guidelines and other materials in support of cyber transformational initiatives for clients.
  • Perform technical review of network and system architectures for cyber and technology risks.
  • Perform research and analysis including industry research, best practices, international standards and emerging cyber trends as necessary. This includes participation in thought leadership creation and industry consultations for emerging and nascent cyber topics.
  • Support development of documentation and artefacts to maintain knowledge management and intellectual capital of the team.

Requirements:

  • Relevant cyber security certification, specifically CISSP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other equivalents.
  • Strong social and communication skills with direct client interaction and engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Powerpoint and Excel and track record developing high quality deliverables for client presentations.
  • Ability to understand business and technology trends as well as their implications to business.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
  • Applicants selected may be subjected to security screening and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Experience with cybersecurity maturity / benchmarking assessments, development of roadmaps for improvement, development of cybersecurity operational and governance documentation, and architecture reviews is a plus.
  • Experience in cybersecurity consulting, has both internal and client facing engagements is a plus.

Preferred Skills /Qualities:

  • Familiar with local (Singapore) regulatory standards/guidelines such as Cybersecurity Act, IM8, CSA’s Security by Design Framework, Guidelines and Companion Guide to Securing AI Systems, MASTRMG and international cybersecurity standards, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, or ISO 27001/2.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable to work onsite 5 days a week.
  • Ability to manage small to mid-sized projects independently.
  • Ability to work as a part of team or as an individual contributor.
  • Ability to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in one or more regional (South East Asian) languages and dialects.
  • Strong presentation and briefing skills.
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing cybersecurity risk assessment, management, governance development and technical architecture reviews is a plus.
