1. Curriculum Planning and Delivery

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons that align with preschool curriculum and the principles of early childhood education
Develop engaging and creative activities to nurture children’s language, literacy, cognitive, social, and emotional development
Tailor teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of the children

2. Classroom Management and Environment

Establish and maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children
Organize and arrange classroom resources to encourage exploration and independent learning

3. Child Development and Assessment

Monitor and document each child’s progress through observations, assessments, and learning portfolios
Identify developmental milestones and areas for improvement, providing targeted support where needed
Regularly update parents on their child’s progress and development

4. Language and Literacy Development

Develop children’s proficiency in English through interactive storytelling, phonics, songs, and language-rich activities
Foster effective communication skills and confidence in expressing ideas

5. Parent and Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication and consultations
Participate in preschool events, workshops, and community activities to foster a sense of belonging

6. Collaboration and Professional Development

Work collaboratively with other educators and staff to plan and implement cohesive programs
Share best practices and participate in team discussions to enhance teaching strategies
Attend professional development sessions to stay current with early childhood education trends and methodologies

Requirements

Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent
Proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills
Passionate working with young children and fostering their development
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
