HOYA Electronics’ primary focus is on the development of optical and extreme ultraviolet (EUV) photomask blanks, which are critical components in the manufacturing process of the latest-generation chips used in various applications such as artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and 5G. The company also manufactures a range of photomask blanks used in the production of chips for various applications such as memory, logic, and power devices.
Get to Know the Role
The HR intern will be under the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development function. They will be tasked with enhancing both internal and external engagement. Responsibilities include assisting with interviews and planning training courses. They will gain practical experience in communication, TA and stakeholder management, contributing to their overall understanding of human resources, project management and organizational dynamics.
Essential Responsibilities
Create New Ideas for Company Booth at Industry/ School Career Fairs.
Create interactive and experiential activities for career fairs to increase engagement and traffic.
Planning Training Courses for Employees
Assist the L&D team to plan and contact vendors to organize training sessions for employees.
Candidate Assessment
Review resumes to determine the suitability of candidate before proceeding to schedule interviews.
Assist in coordinating interviews for HR team.
Employee Onboarding and Orientation
Assist HR team with onboarding of new employees.
Other ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisor / manager.
Skills and Competencies Profile
Students and Graduates are welcome to apply for this role.
Proficient in MS Office. Proficiency in Canva / Photoshop is an additional advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail oriented and good decision-making skills.
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
