We have an exciting new opening for a Business Development Manager (BDM), reporting to our Vice President, APAC. As BDM you have an unwavering drive for results, to achieve KPIs, growth targets and keep commitments. Your primary focus will be to forge new business relationships with End-Users and grow on the successes of our current customer base. To this effect, the BDM has a continuous learning mentality to understand customer environments, identify potential challenges, convert those challenges into increased demand and sales opportunities for our solutions and products within our target verticals.

Primary Responsibilities
- With a planned, structured and methodical approach seek to identify new end-users, potential clients, and opportunities in target vertical markets
- Develop detailed plans which consider the complexities of opportunities with a long sales cycle, are targeted to the vertical End User market we wish to grow, and are refreshed as demands change, and new market data surfaces
- Review quarterly in conjunction with the VP to ensure efforts and goals are aligned and on target
- Research and partner with customers to understand their unique business environment, equipment needs and objectives
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships. Act as the voice of the customer to appropriate internal departments
- Once opportunities progress, introduce customer to the local Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to encourage a smooth transition of responsibility post order while continuing to nurture the relationship built
- Manage the territory pipeline, growth opportunities with a view to continuously expand a qualified customer database
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Senstar’s full range of products, solutions and their applications through professional and comprehensive demonstrations and presentations
- Develop and provide professional quotes and proposals for products and services in a timely manner with the goal to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Review drawings, create block diagrams and equipment schedules based on customer specifications to ensure accurate and reliable quotes
- Act as the voice of the customer to appropriate internal departments and relevant support teams to provide guidance and feedback on customer requirements
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management and Engineering on the product roadmap, including feature development, collateral material, white papers, target pricing, and go-to-market strategies
- With an understanding of vertical-specific landscapes and trends, report on forces that may require a shift in tactical budgets or strategic direction
- Achieve annual sales target while regularly reviewing activity, progress and results to forecast and plan
- Work closely with Operations on timely customer demand fulfillment
- Use Salesforce.com to ensure standard process during all stages of the sales process
- Proven track record of success over 5+ years in a similar capacity, selling complex technical solutions with a long sales cycle to executive decision-makers
- Technical knowledge of IP Security (SW and HW)
- Demonstrated initiative, business acumen and goal execution
- Ability to develop and maintain a network of professional contacts
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and reporting skills
- A strong commitment to compliance standards and uphold the highest ethical principles in all aspects of their work.
- Cultural and commercial awareness
- Professional presentation and proposal writing abilities within the English language
- Proven ability to learn and sell new technology solutions and design
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platform
- Willing and able to travel
- Deep industry roots, with more than 40 years of experience and expertise
