HR Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Process accurate and timely payroll for employees, including salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions for the Singapore office.
- Maintain confidential payroll records and update changes such as promotions, terminations, and tax elections.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore labour laws, CPF contributions, employee leave, and other statutory requirements.
- Address employee payroll inquiries, providing clear explanations on pay, deductions, and benefits.
- Prepare and distribute payslips and reports, maintaining supporting payroll documentation.
- Generate monthly payroll reports and assist with payroll account reconciliations and related financial statements.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee records (new hires, terminations, adjustments) for payroll processing.
- Assist finance with invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate payment processing and customer balances.
- Support general accounting tasks, such as journal entries and month-end closing activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Proven payroll experience with knowledge of Singapore payroll regulations. Experience in accounts receivable or general accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., EasyPay, Sage Payroll) and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in payroll processing and record-keeping.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to resolve employee queries and collaborate with HR, finance, and other teams.
- Knowledge of Singapore's labour laws, CPF, tax regulations, and payroll standards is essential.
- Ability to resolve payroll and account discrepancies efficiently.
