Job Duties:

  • Act as the primary liaison with government officials, industry stakeholders, and trade associations in Singapore, establishing robust communication channels and nurturing enduring relationships.
  • Stay abreast of relevant governmental policy directives, laws, and regulations, meticulously analysing pertinent policies, plans, and industry trends, and devising well-informed strategies and responses aligned with the company's developmental trajectory.
  • Oversee the handling of pertinent affairs within law enforcement agencies across various regions, assuming responsibility for interfacing with relevant governmental bodies in diverse locales.
  • Manage exigent crises and unexpected contingencies promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in overseeing government affairs, ideally within the logistics sector or within a governmental agency focusing on regulatory matters and public policy.
  • A proven track record in navigating Government Relations and Public Policy, with tangible achievements and impactful contributions.
  • Possesses deep knowledge on information of the national standards of Singapore is an added advantage - E.g. Enterprise Singapore.
  • Extensive connections and robust relationships across the realms of business, government, and technology throughout Southeast Asia.
  • Profound proficiency in research, analysis, writing, and presentation skills, coupled with a knack for prioritization and meeting deadlines within a dynamic work environment.
  • Must be able to communicate with our Chinese headquarters in China.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to facilitate effective collaboration and interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
