The Position
Lead the translation of global TA/brand strategies into regional strategies and ensure aligned OPU execution.
Subject matter experts on the topics of pricing, access, HEOR and healthcare affairs for the respective TA/brands.
Guides OPUs in the development and review of P&R dossiers and the associated negotiations.
Provide OPUs with learnings and best practices from other markets and support capability development across ASKAN.
Represent MAHA in ROPU brand teams and contribute to brand deliverables e.g., ICPs.
Advocate with Corporate to ensure that the global market access strategies and deliverables meet the needs of ASKAN markets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain both a deep understanding of different ASKAN market archetypes and local conditions and the TA/brand evidence, strategy and value in order to inform OPU and ROPU brand strategies and tactics.
- Guides OPUs to ensure the development and review of OPU P&R strategies, dossiers, economic models and value communications are aligned to Global/ROPU market access strategies. Evaluate and make recommendations on business cases related to price and access changes.
- Support OPUs to identify and address gaps in local healthcare policy and delivery that would adversely impact patient access to care in relevant therapeutic areas. Identify synergies and common issues across ASKAN markets and drive appropriate regional activities.
- Represent MAHA in ROPU brand teams. Provide relevant input into ROPU and OPU Integrated Customer Plans (ICPs), Healthcare Affairs Plans and Corporate Affairs plans for respective TAs as required.
- Contribute to the development of MAHA capabilities in OPUs. Provide key MAHA knowledge & insights to ROPU brand teams. Represent MAHA in other cross-functional settings.
- Lead Corporate-ASKAN interactions for respective brands/TAs. Ensure the needs of ASKAN payers and markets are reflected in global strategies and deliverables for the respective brands/Tas. Support the Head of MAHA with ad hoc project work (e.g., special projects, early clinical development inputs) as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or post-graduate qualification in pharmacy, epidemiology, health economics or economics, public health, biostatistics or related fields.
- Minimum 5/3 years of country/international experience in Market Access and/or Healthcare Affairs function.
- Well-developed interpersonal, time-management, written and oral communication skills; proficient in English.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to communicate complex topics. International experience and hands-on experience with HTA submissions are desirable.
