  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Summary

We are looking for a 6-months contract Senior Product Designer who is passionate for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UX/UI design problems by staying up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.
You will be part of Scoot’s Product Design Team and will work closely with product owners and the development team to build, design, communicate and justify design decisions to various stakeholders across the organization.

Job Description

    Responsibilities

    • Be involved with the design decisions within Commercial projects; website, mobile app etc

    • Work independently and closely with cross functions; Business Stakeholders, Product Owners and Engineers in an agile methodology environment.

    • Plan and facilitate design activities to solve key issues, promote cross-collaboration between team members and departments to reach business and product goals

    • Plan and conduct user feedback & usability test sessions to guide product decisions and evaluate product’s usability and effectiveness

    • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, and mock-ups optimized for a responsive environment, desktop and mobile

    • Bring products alive by creating a visualization of screens within a prototype framework

    • Execute visual design stages from wireframes to be ready for engineering

    • Be up-to-date and present new ideas, concepts and design solutions to the team

    Requirements

    • Degree in Digital Design, or related field

    • You have 5 or more years of UX/UI design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments

    • You have relevant experience with responsive web design, mobile platforms both iOS & Android

    • You have a strong portfolio showcasing your best design work

    • You are proficient in Figma & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)

    • You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions. Having experience with facilitation is a plus

    • You are flexible to take direction, feedback and observations with a positive attitude

    • You have a good understanding of development principles and execution

    • You are a good team player

    • You desire to learn and grow as a designer

    • Knowledge in Miro, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin & HTML5/CSS3, is a plus
