Role Overview

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will lead the design of BounceBit’s blockchain products, ensuring they are visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with the principles of decentralization. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex blockchain concepts into intuitive interfaces, while mentoring junior designers and advocating for user-centered design practices.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design Leadership

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for BounceBit’s platform, including dashboards, wallet integrations, and governance interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
  • Conduct user research to understand crypto-native behaviors and pain points (e.g., wallet interactions, staking workflows)

Blockchain-Specific Design

  • Simplify complex blockchain processes (e.g., smart contract interactions, token swaps) into intuitive UI flows.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices (e.g., transaction confirmations, error states).
  • Collaborate with developers to implement design systems and maintain consistency across platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers and engineers to define requirements and prioritize features.
  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in Web3 design (e.g., multi-language support, dark/light mode).

Mentorship & Strategy

  • Guide junior designers and foster a culture of innovation within the design team.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in crypto UX (e.g., NFT marketplaces, DAO governance interfaces).

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years in UI/UX design, with 1+ years in fintech, blockchain, or crypto projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Familiarity with Web3 design patterns (e.g., wallet connections, gas fee displays).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Bonus:

  • Experience with DeFi protocols or crypto exchanges.
  • Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS, React.js).
