We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer, Perception, to lead the development and implementation of our cutting-edge perception systems focused on tracking multiple objects using camera and radar technologies. This role is critical to advancing our capabilities in object detection and tracking, contributing directly to the success of our innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of advanced perception systems for real-time, multi-object tracking using camera and radar data.
- Innovate and improve camera pipeline processes to enhance image quality and system performance.
- Design and implement sensor fusion algorithms to accurately integrate data from radar and camera sensors.
- Apply deep learning and computer vision techniques to improve detection and tracking accuracy.
- Develop and optimize tracking algorithms, including Kalman filters and Multiple Hypothesis Tracking (MHT), for enhanced tracking performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of perception systems into the overall project architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in perception technology, applying cutting-edge research to practical applications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in perception system development, with a focus on multi-object tracking using camera and radar technologies.
- Deep understanding of computer vision, signal processing, and sensor fusion.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing deep learning models for computer vision applications.
- Expertise in developing and optimizing camera pipeline and tracking algorithms, such as Kalman filters and MHT.
- Proficiency in programming, particularly in C/C++.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex technical projects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
