Teaching Associate (Engineering Physics)
Candidate will assist faculty member in Engineering Physics teaching or teaching-related duties, including but not limited to the conducting of tutorial lessons, developing teaching materials, grading assignments and providing formative feedback to students in their learning. He/She will also be required to assist the School in administrative work, as assigned during the term breaks. The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences is committed to promoting gender diversity. Responsibilities:
- Conduct tutorial lessons.
- Develop teaching materials.
- Grade assignments and providing formative feedback to students in their learning.
- Any other admin duties as determined by the School during term breaks.
Qualification Requirements:
- Some experience in teaching and tutorial preparation for introductory Physics courses.
- Knowledge in the design and development of instructional and teaching materials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for teaching.
- Able to provide guidance and coaching for students.
- At least an Honours with Distinction or Second Upper Honours (or equivalent) degree in Physics or a closely related field.
