Wildlife Facilitator, Education (Part-time)

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Facilitate overnight camps, tours and other programmes

· Sentry duties for overnight camps

Requirements

· Strong interest in conservation, nature, wildlife and public education

· Good command of English

· Enjoy working outdoors and inspiring people to care for wildlife

· Possess positive learning attitude, initiative, and a sense of adventure

· Experience in conducting tours and engaging large groups are added advantages

· Comfortable with handling animals such as insects during programmes

Training required

· Shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo an in-person interview.

· Training will be provided and is compulsory for all successful applicants. Full attendance is required for the training.

o In-park training details: 7th Jan 2025 (9 – 6pm) and 9th – 10th Jan 2025 (overnight at Singapore Zoo; 9am (day 1) – 5pm (day 2))

· Upon successful completion of training, applicants will be rostered for Singapore Zoo and River Wonders programmes and camp.
