The candidate will work directly with employers, our partners and clients who are persons with disabilities to provide suitable employment assistance. The scope would include managing relevant programmes, collaborate with external agencies, identifying suitable employment opportunities for the clients and referring them to our partners. The candidate will also work closely with other internal and external stakeholders in the outreach and engagement of the clients, and employers to facilitate sustainable inclusive hiring practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Servicing

  • Work with persons with disabilities, employers and support networks (caregivers, co-workers, community and others) to identify stakeholders’ needs, service gaps and provide appropriate services and relevant resources.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls, attend to walk-ins and reply to email enquiries, including referrals from Members of Parliament.
  • Case coordination and ensure accurate flow of information across business units in the management of referrals, feedback and appeals received from Members of Parliament or government agencies.
  • Facilitate and process applications for employment assistance through emails and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

Stakeholders Management and Programme Funding

  • Administer employment-related scheme/s and work with external stakeholders for partnership to support the employment of persons with disabilities.
  • Manage and work closely with appointed programme partners on client referrals, service model and track and report of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Prepare and provide support in updates/reporting to management/funders, budgeting and presentations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis to evaluate programme efficiency, identify gaps and develop strategies to enhance employability of the clients.
  • Engage stakeholders to build rapport and offer recruitment support.
  • Participate in cross-divisional workgroup/s and provide ad-hoc secretarial support and other duties assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience

  • Degree holder with at least 3 years of work experience.
  • Preferably with experience in the social service/disability sector or client-facing roles would be an added advantage.
  • Dedicated to understand and meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Able to work under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous to maintain records of engagement, generate data and prepare reports.
  • Resourceful, independent and enjoys interacting with people.
  • Strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
