Production Manager

Responsibilities:

. Lead and manage fragrance production operations to meet production target and customer's specifications

. Provide leadership and work directions to the production team in consistent with business objectives and company policies.

. Responsible for the production manpower planning, hiring, allocation and cost control.

. Ensure finished products that comply with customer specifications and company regulatory requirements and standards

. Investigate and find out the root cause with regards to customer complaints and internal rejects

. Work closely with Planning, Purchasing and Research & Development Departments to ensure efficient stocks level of raw materials to meet timely delivery of finished products

. Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are current, accurate and team are trained in the relevant job according SOPs.

. Initiate reviews of production budget, processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce cost and increase productivity whilst maintaining industry standards of quality and safety

. Monitor, study and improve on machine utilization, work & material, production cost performance and initiates cost reduction program

. Identify, plan and coordinate developmental training needs for staff to maintain standards of competencies.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
• 5 years of experience in a Chemical manufacturing operation
• 3 or more years of experience in a Managerial or leadership role
• Demonstrated good organizational and interpersonal skills and able to communicate well with all levels of staff in the organization.
