Restaurant Manager - SGUnited Traineeships Programme
1. Role Description:
This position reports to the Director and oversees daily operations, ensuring the establishment runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing staff, maintaining high standards of food and service quality, and enhancing the overall dining experience for customers.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
. Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health and safety as well as ensuring the strictest standards of sanitation are practiced on a daily basis.
. Coordinate marketing activities, budgeting and forecast on monthly/yearly sales revenue including Social Media Marketing /Googles Ads/Instagram activities.
. Analyse the restaurant budget to find and price inventory, reduce expenses, review current pricing and adjust purchasing strategies if needed including track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary.
. Implement practices and procedures and consistently review operational standards as well as address customer needs, feedback, and complaints with the aim of always improving speed and service quality.
. Communicate new menu developments with the Head Chef according to market/customers demand to the interest of the Company and increase the overall sales volume.
. Hire, train, and supervise a team of employees as well as create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing.
3. Competencies to learn:
1. Ability to lead with high standards of personal integrity and professionalism
2. Knowledge of marketing and experience with social media and advertising trends.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
4. Extremely organized and detail-oriented
5. Detailed knowledge of culinary trends and F&B service and best practices.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
