Job Summary: The Treasury Assistant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial activities, including cash flow management and liquidity planning.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Management
Monitor daily cash positions, manage cash flow forecasting, and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet the company’s operational needs.
Financial Reporting
Prepare and analyse financial reports related to treasury activities, including daily cash flow statements and liquidity reports.
Compliance
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to treasury activities.
Support Treasury Duties
Handle interest fixing, fixed deposit placements, loan rollovers, bank account opening/closing, and KYC/due diligence.
Bank Accounts Administration
Maintain database and conduct periodic review of banking mandates and access rights to online banking platforms in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues relating to funding, treasury operations, and accounting matters.
Financing Transactions
Support financing transactions and execution of loan documentation from inception to post-closing, if any.
Remittance
Work with remittance vendors to remit payments to Malaysia, China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in treasury or a related financial role.
Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Speak and reads Mandarin to communicate with China Colleagues.
