The Head of Culture and People will drive the development, integration, and ongoing enhancement of our global culture, ensuring alignment with company's mission and values. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this leader will oversee employee engagement, cultural programs, and people initiatives across diverse international teams. This role combines a strategic focus on organizational culture with people-first principles, playing a pivotal role in creating a dynamic, inclusive, and productive work environment.

Job Description:

Culture Development & Advocacy:

  • Define and implement a global culture strategy that supports our mission, aligns with core values, and addresses regional differences.
  • Serve as a cultural ambassador, collaborating with leadership to drive cultural consistency and advocate for a people-centered approach across all business functions.

Employee Engagement & Experience:

  • Design programs and initiatives that foster engagement, employee satisfaction, and a sense of belonging within a hybrid or remote work setting.
  • Lead regular pulse surveys, feedback loops, and focus groups to measure engagement, identify trends, and prioritize improvements.

People Development & Talent Retention:

  • Collaborate with Talent Development to create impactful learning programs, ensuring employees have the resources and growth opportunities they need to thrive.
  • Develop recognition programs to celebrate achievements, promote loyalty, and build a strong internal community.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Partner with the DEI team to embed inclusive practices throughout the employee lifecycle and workplace culture.
  • Foster a diverse, equitable environment by implementing strategies that increase representation, accessibility, and inclusion globally.

Change Management & Organizational Development:

  • Support the business in managing organizational change, providing resources and guidance to ensure successful transitions and maintaining morale.
  • Champion change management best practices and help the organization evolve in alignment with a growth-oriented culture.

Data & Insights:

  • Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of cultural and engagement initiatives, using insights to inform strategy.
  • Report on key metrics to senior leadership, offering data-backed recommendations to enhance culture and people outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications in culture or change management are a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in culture, employee engagement, or HR roles, with a proven track record of successful culture-building within a global or high-growth finance/fintech environment.
  • Deep understanding of DEI, employee engagement trends, and cultural transformation principles.
  • Ability to converse in Chinese to communicate with Chinese speaking associates.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in data analytics, with experience using engagement metrics and surveys to drive cultural and organizational improvement.
