Senior Manager, Alumni Engagement (Office of Alumni Relations)

The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities. OAR supports alumni in their personal and professional development, encouraging their involvement in university initiatives and community service. By promoting a vibrant and engaged alumni network in Singapore and globally, OAR aims to strengthen the NUS community, enhance its reputation, and contribute to the university's mission of excellence in education, research, and service to society.

Job Description

• Build and maintain relationships with the alumni community.

• Perform secretariat duties in support of alumni committees.

• Co-lead and support major events locally and globally.

• Support collaborations with colleges, faculties, schools, hostels, and administrative units by curating masterclasses, networking, and learning opportunities for alumni.

• Track alumni engagement, manage budgets, provide analysis, and report on events and activities.

• Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications

• A recognised university degree with 5 years of proven track record in partnership and/stakeholder engagement

• Experience in the higher education sector will be a plus

• Creative, detail-oriented with strong people skills, sports-oriented, and a self-starter who is resourceful

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong project management skills, meticulous, energetic, and attentive to details

• Excellent analytical skills

• Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable operating independently as well as part of a larger team

• Willing to occasionally work after office hours
