Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting Cargo Commercial Planning (CP) functional modules in the new Integrated Cargo Management System (ICMS)/iCargo, administration of the new Cargo Revenue Management System and supporting CP’s revenue management functions.

Key Responsibilities

Review user requirement/business processes for CP's iCargo, RMS and/or new IT projects

  • Understand current business process in the existing business environment today.
  • Understand user requirements for changes to be done and what will be the ‘To-Be’ process in the ‘future’ business environment.
  • Review BR document

Verification & UAT including testing of current CP functionalities in iCargo and new RM system

  • Perform testing of CP functionalities before deployment into PROD
  • Verify current system behavior on CP & RM functionalities eg. Booking, flight schedule, allotment etc.
  • Tracking of open CP functionalities with iCargo/RMS.

Revenue Management Functionalities

  • Assist with rates and allocation utilization review, ensuring rate integrity
  • Generation of weekly/monthly performance reports where applicable (including acting as Alternate for weekly Load Factor reporting)
  • Assist with tallying of contracts for allocations to ensure space have been signed per committed
  • Clearing of booking queue in iCargo with reason code "Due Minimum Selling Rate Not Available" (DTMNA) to ensure all minimum selling rates have been set

Revenue Management System (RMS) Administration

  • Review and perform annual recertification of RMS access (after implementation)
  • Assist with administrative work with the implementation of RMS

Projects/Knowledge base/Other Departmental Administratives

  • Involved in projects aimed at work processes improvement
  • Assist with documentation of processes and SOPs
  • Assist with any departmental administration as assigned

Requirements

  • A diploma in any discipline
  • Working experience in cargo airline industry with good understanding of the business operations will be a plus
  • Good knowledge of cargo business will be a plus
  • Basic numerical sense
  • IT literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working with data and systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management and able to work under pressure with tight timelines
  • Meticulous and positive toward changes
