The Event Manager is a hybrid role which necessary to expert in leadership, event management and operations. It cover with various task in order to demands professional maturity, reasonable event experience, superb relationship-building skills and compelling team dynamics.

The Event Manager works on a variety of programs and serves as the day-to-day planning contact for identified clients.

The Event Manager is accountable but not limited to:

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Responsible to manage and coordinate with multiple events at once.
  • Responsible to lead and manage sales team by overseeing and implementing with business strategy.
  • Provide guidance in adjusting plans and events based on clients' feedback and needs
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Manage to handle sales issue such as proposals, quotation, customer complaint and etc.
  • Maintain close communication with clients, vendors and staff members
  • Responsible to handle project management, on-site execution and post event evaluation.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team regularly.
  • Manage to handle finances, such as maintain sales team collecting payments, billing invoice and etc.
  • Work closely with all departments to develop and be responsible for event requirements and deliverables, including but not limited to communications, calendars, registration needs, feedback surveys, and wrap up reporting

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline from a recognized institution are welcome.
  • Have more experience in D&D, Hotel Event, Family Day are preferable.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of event management or production experience or relevant working experience
  • Good communication skills, negotiation skills and have the ability to manage multiple events
  • Creative, mature and leadership qualities
  • Team Player and independent & humble
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about personal and professional growth
  • Able to work at a fast pace and communicate with people at all levels
  • Good spoken and written English & Mandarin
