Job purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our Device Connectors Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and strengthen our market position in the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Undertaking the duties of the DC Market Segment Director in his/her absence.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Achieving the overall Sales target with positive contribution margin.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Implement ad-hoc aggressive sales approach in a cohesive business manner, as needed.
  • Regular customer-sales meetings to support sales in business growth, opportunities and foster positive customer relationship.
  • Leading the SEA sales team effectively to ensure and evaluate their contribution in attaining objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, etc.) to align sales efforts with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Coach and develop sales team members to improve performance and achieve career goals.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5–8-year experience with strong understanding of the device connectors market and industry trends
  • Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
  • Possess valid driving license and own vehicle will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Proficient with Windows based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Customer-driven and results-oriented.
  • Aggressive, persistent, proactive and must be a good team player.
  • Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
  • Willing to travel overseas for training, trade shows and/or meetings etc.
