Charterhouse Singapore are supporting a European MNC in their search for a Regional HR Business Partner

This role will align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with line management and provide HR guidance and support when required
  • Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Suggest and implement new HR strategies
  • Prepare contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.

  • Understanding of SAP
  • Regional responsibilities (Asia)
  • Understanding of local labor legislation for Asian countries
  • Close contact with the local management

  • Languages (Korean, Vietnamese or Japanese) would be a plus

  • Responsible for recruitment in the assigned regions

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner in MNC
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Analytical and goal oriented
  • Able to travel as required
