YOUR ROLE

  • To identify, analyze and develop business opportunities in order to bring about new business, and grow existing business
  • In contact with Global BD, GKAM, OKAM for targeted industries and follow up the leads
  • Accountable in managing and leading CLL program within our Global Century program and Regional Non-Century customers at APAC regional level
  • Ensure timely response from client Queries, Sales Pitch and RFQs leading to successful deals
  • Ensure timely submission of reports (C-view, Opportunities Wins/Loss)

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Long-term Planning / BD Strategy:
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve targeted revenue and growth
  • Maintain an Account Plan for the customer that will encompass a strategic roadmap defining multi- year growth strategy and financial ambition

Solution Proposals and pricing:
  • Prospecting for all pre-sales opportunities and delivering compelling solutions, value and pricing by working with Global BD, IT & SD teams
  • Accompany new customer projects through all stages of the pre-contracting engagement cycle until final signature of customer contract

Build and maintain sales pipeline and customer base:
  • Establish Sales lead via 4 main channels (Existing customers, Global BD, Regional BD and APAC CLL source) to build contacts and target accounts within a targeted industry
  • Maintain an accurate ongoing and robust sales pipe-line at all times
  • Expansion/Growth is mission critical to the role. Customers relationship management and service execution are 2 key components to ensure account expansion / growth is achieved
  • Ensure that business leads and opportunities are correctly captured and followed up in CEVA sales / CRM tools; deliver periodical reporting on opportunities and initiatives as required

Customer Relationship Management:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with newly targeted and existing accounts, and ensure updates on the status

Industry knowledge and Market Trends:
  • Keep up to date with market trends in the field of 4PL / Lead Logistics as well as 3PL / Forwarding Industry. Get a broad understanding on industry trends in targeted key sectors and in the APAC region.
  • Exchange and share market knowledge with peers in the CEVA organization and within CLL Teams.
  • Deliver value add to customers by providing regular updates on market insights and trends

Support Running Business:
  • Support CLL account managers, Control Tower Managers and SD / Project teams on the extension of existing customer contracts and / or extension of scope [functional, geography]
  • Conduct regular business review meetings (QBR) for all customers and drive meeting content to ensure operations, support and execution teams are present to support these reviews.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education & Qualifications
  • Degree in any discipline

Experience
  • Min 5+ years of working experience in a comparable role (Business development or Sales background in SCM Field mandatory)

Specialist Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge of Customer engagement from pre-sale pitch call preparation, RFQ, contract negotiation and implementation
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Power Point, Project)
