Our client, a leading private equity firm with a diverse portfolio of companies, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director/Vice President of Human Capital to join their team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in driving value creation of portfolio companies, via hirings of senior management, designing compensation structures, and overseeing performance reviews and tracking for our portfolio companies.

This role also requires close collaboration with the HR teams of portfolio companies to develop robust HR policies and manage special projects related to integration or restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior Hirings and Compensation Design:
  1. Lead recruitment process for senior executive roles in portfolio companies
  2. Design competitive and effective compensation structures to attract top talent and align interest with company and shareholders
  3. Conduct regular performance reviews and implement tracking systems to ensure alignment with business goals
  • HR Policy Development:
  1. Collaborate with the HR teams of portfolio companies to develop and implement comprehensive HR policies
  2. Ensure HR policies are aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements
  3. Provide guidance and support to HR teams in the executions , including training and coaching
  • Special Projects:
  1. Lead and manage special projects related to the integration of new acquisitions or restructuring of existing portfolio companies
  2. Identify and address HR-related challenges during restructuring to optimize organizational efficiency

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience:
  1. 15+ years of HR experience
  2. Extensive experience in senior HR roles within the industrial and manufacturing sectors
  3. Proven track record in managing cross-border HR functions and understanding Asian cultural nuances
  4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments
  5. Demonstrated track record of implementing global HR policies and processes, and designing compensation packages and tracking
  • Skills:
  1. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  2. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with portfolio company management teams
  3. Hands-on executor with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project management
  4. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Education:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus
