IT Product Manager

Responsibilities

Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to define and create solutions to meet user needs.

Core Responsibilities

· Define and maintain the product vision & roadmap

· Manage, Refine and prioritize the product backlog on the long run

· Contribute to value case definition, product team orchestration and change management to users and stakeholders

Strategy - Contribution to IT Master Plan

· Engage with direct manager, Architects, other product managers (domains and innovation) to define the product roadmap

· Interact with direct manager and architects to translate Business capabilities, IT Master Plan, platform roadmap to define the product vision and roadmap in collaboration with business.

Product/Project Delivery

· Identify existing and potential Business stakeholders and ensures Business Mobilization on projects impacting his/her product

· Contribute to the scoping exercise by collecting requirements, proposing best on market / technology trends and assessing impacts on his/her product and roadmap.

· Challenge requirements to make sure the validated priorities will maximize the value of the product

· Drives/Contributes to the definition and scoring of value case with the expected benefits (+ KPI & key success factors) for projects impacting her/his product, ensure the business validation

· Collaborate with necessary Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders (Platform Managers, Product Managers, Architects, Change Lead, QC Lead, Designers, Data Scientists …) to provide ranged estimate, assess feasibility - timeline - complexity - level of confidence - risk - resource needs for the identified scenarios

· Lead Use case definition and solution scenario definition and selection

· Define the best project setup for her/his product team (resource needs)

· Contribute to retrospectives and demos on her/his product

· Contribute to the change management on her/his product deployment to Production, including handover to operations and support team

· Accountable for product documentation creation and maintenance

Academic Background

Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and/or business school or equivalent.

Professional Experience

· 8+ years working in IT environment

· Experience in agile environment

· Experience in User Experience approaches

· Experience in workshop animation (design sprints, design thinking, creative problem solving)

Technical Skills

· Strong Business Analysis Skills

· Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills

· Tech-savvy: Curious and interested about Digital and Information Technologies

· Knowledgeable about technologies: Web/Java-J2EE, Oracle/Postgre etc
