Travel Retail - E-Commerce Executive

Shiseido Travel Retail is a fast-growing organization, focusing on distribution within Duty Free Zones (Airports, Downtown Stores, Air flights). As the E-Commerce Executive, you will play a key role in accelerating our e-commerce growth in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the E-Commerce Executive will work with cross-functional teams to drive the overall online business and leverage online platforms to build brand awareness and attractiveness for all brands in Travel Retail Asia Pacific. This candidate should demonstrate a solid understanding of the digital and e-commerce landscape in China, as well as a point of view on the best practices of e-commerce, digital media, and CRM, and help guide the stakeholders on e-commerce (EC) campaign planning and optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
e-Commerce Marketing and Operation
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, plan, allocate, implement, and optimize retailer EC exposure and performance including shop-in-shop and banners.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and retailers to ensure the optimal accuracy and quality of the digital assets on retailer social and EC channels.
- Work closely with stakeholders to plan and implement EC marketing campaign to drive conversions based on marketing and promotion calendars.
- Support group level EC initiatives i.e., group EC campaigns, group livestream (shoppable).
- Brief and supervise retainer agency on asset production and timely delivery.
Partnership Marketing and Operation
- Foster close collaboration with third party partners such as Alipay. Negotiate package resources with partners and set up measurable KPIs.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of O2O campaigns, compiling detailed reports to share with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross teams, external parties and agencies to brainstorm innovative consumer engagement strategies and conversion mechanics.
Reporting
- Providing regular performance updates to relevant stakeholders and identifying opportunities for improvement through KPI reporting and tracking.
- Analyze EC performance against KPI and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor and update competitors EC campaigns and new initiatives.
- All additional ad-hoc reports required.
Administrative Support
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage product giveaway shipments to the retailers and maintain fully stocked product cupboard for all digital initiatives.
- Ensure rigorous and regular tracking and update of EC budget. Raise POs and process invoices in a timely manner and adhere to the internal policy.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in eCommerce gained from a consumer brand, e-commerce pure player or digital marketing agency.
- Experience working with FMCG/Beauty Player and/or Travel Retail would be viewed favourably.
- Experience in key account management is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of the digital media and e-commerce landscape in China
- Fundamental understanding of UI, UX and web development. Able to adapt the technical knowledge into simplistic language where necessary for presentations to other stakeholders.
- Analytical with ROI & data-driven mindset; strong ability to connect data to business drivers and provide insights. Fundamental understanding of how to generate leads & track to close the loop.
