Job Summary:

The Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the sales team. This individual will be highly motivated, goal-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting & Lead Generation:

• Conduct research to identify potential customers and key decision-makers within targeted accounts.

• Use various channels (emails, LinkedIn, social media, etc.) to reach out to potential leads.

2. Qualifying Leads:

• Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and challenges.

• Assess whether the prospect fits the company’s ideal customer profile and qualifies the lead based on defined criteria.

• Schedule appointments or product demonstrations for the sales team.

3. Collaboration with Sales and Marketing Teams:

• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.

• Provide feedback to the marketing team on the quality of leads generated by campaigns.

• Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate prospecting data, notes, and pipeline status.

4. Communication & Relationship Building:

• Build relationships with potential customers to foster long-term engagement.

• Act as the initial point of contact and create a positive impression of the company.

• Communicate the value proposition of the company’s products/services to prospective clients.

5. Performance Tracking & Reporting:

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified leads.

• Track and report on key metrics, including the number of qualified leads generated and conversion rates.

• Continuously refine outreach techniques and improve conversion rates based on feedback and performance data.

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong desire to succeed in sales.

• Ability to handle objections, remain persistent, and manage a high volume of outreach.

• A customer-centric mindset with a focus on problem-solving and meeting client needs.
