Job Overview:

As the Partner Sales Lead - Financial Services Industry (FSI), your mission is to accelerate financial institutions on their Net Zero journey while also leveraging their reach to multiply sustainability impact across their client base.

You will focus on working closely with FSI clients, helping them integrate and scale sustainability frameworks within their operations and extend these to their clients. This involves building strategic partnerships and delivering tailored solutions that address decarbonization, ESG leadership, and green finance.

In this role, you'll work 50% of your time directly with financial institutions to drive sustainability leadership and Net Zero initiatives, and 50% on partnering with ecosystem players to deliver comprehensive sustainability solutions that enable financial institutions to lead by example.

Financial institutions are uniquely positioned to influence ESG investing and drive carbon reduction across industries, making them powerful partners in the global decarbonization movement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborating with Financial Services Clients (50%):

Build and nurture deep relationships with financial institutions to accelerate their internal Net Zero goals and extend their sustainability reach to their client networks.

Collaborate with FSIs to deploy sustainability frameworks, helping them provide green finance and ESG-backed solutions to their customers.

Enable financial institutions to lead their clients on Net Zero pathways by offering carbon management, AI-powered energy optimization, and ESG solutions.

2. Strategic Ecosystem Partnerships (50%):

Develop and expand partnerships with consulting firms, system integrators, and technology providers to co-create turnkey sustainability solutions tailored to FSI clients.

Co-sell these solutions to financial institutions, enabling them to support their clients’ Net Zero commitments while embedding sustainability into their own services.

Align partnerships with financial institutions’ decarbonization goals, driving collaborative efforts that scale impact across industries.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: 10+ years in partner sales, ecosystem management, or key account management, with a focus on sustainability and working with financial institutions.

Strategic Partnership Development: Proven track record of building long-term partnerships within the financial and sustainability sectors, delivering integrated solutions that help clients meet their Net Zero targets.

Sustainability Expertise: Deep understanding of ESG frameworks, carbon reduction strategies, and energy optimization solutions, particularly in the context of the financial services sector.

Key Technical Knowledge:

Carbon Management & Decarbonization: Experience in delivering carbon management solutions that help financial institutions and their clients drive decarbonization and meet sustainability goals.

ESG Frameworks: Expertise in ESG compliance, GHG protocols, and sustainability reporting, ensuring that solutions align with financial sector regulations.

AI & IoT-Driven Solutions: Knowledge of IoT and AI-powered platforms to implement sustainable technologies, empowering financial institutions to transform both their operations and those of their clients.

This role is pivotal in helping financial institutions lead the way on their Net Zero journey while fostering impactful partnerships that multiply sustainability outcomes across the industry.

  • Successfully developing and scaling partnerships with financial institutions, enabling them to lead the sustainability transformation and empowering their clients to embark on net-zero journeys.
  • Expanding finance sector leadership in the global sustainability movement by embedding carbon management, energy optimization, and ESG frameworks into their offerings.
  • Driving revenue growth through partner-driven sales models while positioning Univers as a key partner in the finance sector’s efforts to reduce emissions and achieve net-zero goals across industries.
