General Manager - FMCG / F&B

Our client is an FMCG company which is looking to expand its coverage in Southeast Asia, and Europe and looking for a General Manager to be a part of their team to be based in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and growing the business to achieve the business expansion target.

Responsibilities:

• Having strong direct selling experience, modern trade, F&B, and distribution management experience to expand the business for local and export markets.
• Developing and executing a comprehensive market expansion strategy, identifying new opportunities and revenue streams.
• Having experience managing operations, supply chains, and corporate functions with strong leadership management.
• Identify competition and propose an effective sales strategy plan for business expansion & and development to achieve sales targets & and KPIs.
• Managing all sales channels and ensuring daily operations function well.
• Having full responsibility for the P&L of the company including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline.
• A background in direct selling, F&B, FMCG, and distribution management of drink/ food products is preferred.
• Ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies with P&L management experience.
• Able to carry out analysis to identify opportunities for expanding the distributor's network and improving sales.
• Having strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Being independent, resourceful, and oriented.
• Having strong leadership and team management skills with a proven record of building and executing business expansion plans.
