Our client is a manufacturing company which is looking to expand its coverage in Southeast Asia, looking for a Sales Manager to be a part of their team based in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and growing the business to achieve the business expansion target.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and managing existing accounts and distributor channels, to better support business in local and regional areas throughout SEA countries.
  • Achieving or better Sales Budgets and Gross Margin Budgets for relevant Sales Area(s), being accountable for same.
  • Identifying, qualifying and selling to relevant customers and prospects, focusing on new segment product/market applications consistent with Company guidelines.
  • Ensuring supply proposals or quotations are presented to customers and prospects in an appropriately creative and professional manner and consistent with Company sales guidelines.
  • Maintaining an awareness of movements and developments of related industries and competitors within in-charged products.
  • Providing market insights and quality data to enable sound decision-making.
  • Leading technical development of products to maintain competitiveness in the market.
  • To liaise with customer, Production and Marketing personnel to ensure smooth supply continuity, negotiating best compromise where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline.
  • A background in selling industrial products to focus on consumer manufacturer customers in SEA.
  • Experience in dealing with factories and open to travel for business.
  • Able to carry out analysis to identify opportunities for expanding the distributor's network and improving sales.
  • Having strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Being independent, resourceful, and oriented.
