the product is the leading audiobook mobile app in Vietnam. It partners with major book publishers and offers a wide range of copyrighted audiobooks, podcasts, and other audio content. We seek an experienced Head of Business Development to drive our B2B growth and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and Execute B2B Strategy: Work directly with the CEO to formulate and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the B2B segment.

- Identify Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and target sectors to increase adoption of our audio content solutions.

- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, affiliates, and prospective clients.

- Lead and Manage Team: Lead and manage the business development team, setting challenging targets and coaching team members to achieve sales goals.

- Sales Process Oversight: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring effective pipeline management and high conversion rates.

- Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with marketing, product, and other departments to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.

- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities and inform product development.

- Represent the company: Represent our product at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to promote the brand and generate leads.

- Proposal Development and Negotiation: Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contracts with potential clients and partners.

- Monitor Performance: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to leadership on business development activities and results.

Required skills and experiences

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth for an innovative Vietnamese startup. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking, sales expertise, and a passion for digital content to expand our product reach and help more people access high-quality audio content.

- 5 - 10 years of proven experience selling B2B products to HR or L&D departments

- Prior experience leading business development teams, especially in a tech or startup environment.

- An existing network in the HR industry in Vietnam

- A proven track record of achieving sales KPIs.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Strategic thinking with a track record of successful B2B initiatives.

- Excellent communication skills in English.

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Passion for Mission: Passion for our product' mission of bringing the world's knowledge to Vietnam.

- Results-Oriented: Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Networking Skills: Strong network of contacts, especially at the executive level in potential client organizations.

Preferred skills and experiences

Previous work in the education industry is a plus.
