The Commercial Manager is responsible for strategically & effectively managing the APJ portfolio of distributors in order to achieve and exceed the annual sales objectives established for the region. This position reports to the VP of Global Sales.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • You will appoint, manage and direct the portfolio of distributors in the region.
  • You will identify and capture new market development opportunities.
  • You will proactively collaborate with regional Siemens Healthineers business units to capitalize on synergy opportunities.
  • You will develop regional and individual market plans, strategies, and objectives.
  • You will manage distributor performance and implementing effective variance correction as required.
  • You will manage key accounts and key clinical relationships in the region.
  • You will develop and execute effective product strategies within the region, for existing and new products.
  • You will achieve regional strategic objectives.
  • You will manage reports and communicate sales performance / market intelligence and key information.
  • You will manage the operating expense budget for optimal sales effect.
  • You will provide training when required.
  • You will represent Varian IO Solutions in the region with respect to standard Varian IO Solutions Systems and Procedures
  • You may perform other duties as assigned.
  • Working Location: Singapore (highly preferred)

Education And Experience

  • You have 15+ years of demonstrated experience in Sales and/or Marketing Management
  • You have a degree in preferably Business, Marketing or Medical/Biological Sciences
  • You have experience in (financial) reporting, forecasting and market share analysis.
  • You have strong sales management orientation and aptitude for learning mechanical or scientific subjects.
  • You have knowledge of interventional procedural techniques and terminology preferred.

Skills/Knowledge

  • You are ethical and compliant to company and industry guidelines.
  • You can develop in a country manager role.
  • You are proficient in the following computer software applications: Office.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • You have strong organizational skills.
  • You have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • You can effectively communication both internally and externally.
  • You can read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
