About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group’s business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile

Job Responsibilities

• To review and evaluate credit proposals and provide appropriate credit recommendation.
• When awarded with CDL, to exercise such authority with integrity, prudent and in responsible manner.
• To keep abreast with regulatory updates, and to ensure that all credit approvals are within appropriate regulatory guidelines.• To monitor outstanding loans for signs of stress and to recommend appropriate action.
• To conduct site visit for better understanding of borrowers’ operations.
• To prepare and analyze macro and micro economic data, and industry updates to support credit judgment.
• Any assignments as may be delegated by Senior Management.

Job Requirements



• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Minimum 15 years of relevant banking experience including several years as relationship manager
• Strong understanding of credit principles
• High level of integrity and a team player
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
