[What the role is]

You will be part of the team that formulates procurement policies to transform the Built Environment sector. Specifically, you will work on the development of a new IT system that will replace existing registration and appraisal systems used by firms in the Built Environment (BE) sector.

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team that formulates procurement policies to transform the Built Environment sector. Specifically, you will work on the development of a new IT system that will replace existing registration and appraisal systems used by firms in the Built Environment (BE) sector.

Apart from the technical development, you will also need to work on end-user change management to prepare them for the implementation new system, and conduct regular reviews to improve the system/user experiences.

To do so, you will need to work with stakeholders to develop user stories, functional specifications for the system, evaluate suitability of business partners for the system development. You will also work closely with business partners to design, test and iterate the system design to meet users’ needs.

[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary qualifications in built environment related or IT-related fields.
  • At least 2 years of construction-related experience.
  • Good written/verbal communication skills, with keen interest to learn.
  • Good interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team.
  • Experience in software development, data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) would be an advantage.
  • Good to have domain knowledge of the Built Environment (e.g., construction value chain, construction procurement).
