The incumbent will report directly to Senior Manager, Security & Emergency Preparedness (EP) under the Service and Operations department. He/she is expected to support Security & EP related work/assignments during peace time and will be working with peers who are nominated as Security & EP workgroup members from the polyclinics. He/she is expected to conduct staff training, clinic drills, table-top exercises, and ground deployment exercises as part of ensuring NUP’s Security and EP readiness.

The incumbent will play an essential role in developing and implementing policies and response plans to enable NUP to activate, respond to and resume business normalcy from incidents, including but not limited to Disease Outbreaks, Civil and National Emergencies, Infrastructure/IT system downtimes and security breaches.

Emergency Preparedness

You will be responsible to provide administrative support to Emergency Preparedness (EP) team, such as in course coordination, management of the EP Programme Funding (EPPF) in terms of KPI monitoring, submission, and budgeting in the areas of logistic, manpower and training records.

In addition to the development and implementation of policies, you are required to coordinate and oversee the smooth execution of the response plans at clinics during peace and war times, working in close collaborations with internal and external stakeholders, such as the clinic management teams, MOH and SPF.

Security

You are required to understand and perform horizon scan consistently to detect threat/risk situations/scenarios that would impact NUP’s business continuity and be able to advise polyclinics on security matters ranging from MOH’s security postures, SOP/workflows, evacuation plans. You will assist in managing the security service provider by handling feedback/complaints and operational issues and ensuring key performance indicators for security operations & management are met.

Requirements

  • Degree with minimum 2 years of practical experience in planning and/or executing policies, response plans, training activities, security or EP-related drills and exercises for crises
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Highly driven, goal-oriented person who can work under challenging environment
