FP&A Assistant Lead, Regional Business Intelligence & Planning

Job Description:

• Part of the team that owns the preparation of Shopee management reports, short and long-term regional financial forecasts
• Act as a country PIC who partners closely with local FP&A team to produce the most up-to-date insights into country’s actual performance, prepare monthly and quarterly forecast, prepare variance analysis between actual and forecast and drive forecasting accuracy
• Perform regional consolidation for Actuals, Forecast and draw insights for senior management’s decision making
• Automate and improve the efficiency of different FP&A processes
• Define key performance metrics for the organization, align with different groups of stakeholders, and implement the change
• Manage end-to-end special projects (e.g. problem definition, hypothesis testing) and implement change
• Mentor / manage junior team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and above in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 7 - 10 years of relevant experiences in FP&A or related disciplines
• Exposure to e-Commerce, FMCG, consumer technology is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on, organised, able to multitask effectively and deliver consistently good quality work
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills
• Ability to prioritize and work in a highly dynamic and team-oriented environment
• Be able to drive projects end-to-end from defining problem, solutioning, managing stakeholders, implementing and tracking
• Knowledge of programming languages (ie. SQL and Python) is advantageous
• Critical thinker and good problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• People management experience is a plus
