Wholesale & Intermediary Business Development at Fintonia Group

We are looking for a driven and experienced professional to spearhead the promotion of our suite of funds and products to the wealth management channel (financial advisors, MFO/EAMs and Private Banks in Singapore). This position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in traditional fund sales to the wholesale and intermediary channel who can understand how to create successful partnership with this channel, and who is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the ever-evolving digital asset sphere.

To be successful in this role, you are a person who makes things happen, have resourcefulness, initiative and drive in order forge partnerships in Singapore with the wealth management channel (eg financial advisors, multi-family offices, securities firms, robo-advisors, private banks). Being on the cutting edge of finance is not for the faint hearted but will you are likely to enjoy being in an entrepreneurial environment, making a significant impact and want to be part of the rapidly growing digital asset market. It is a hands-on role that will give you the opportunity to directly contribute to building a business and becoming a leader in a fast-growing asset class.

The Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Strategic Business Development Leadership:

Develop and lead regional business development and partnership strategies to promote Fintonia Group’s funds and products, emphasising the innovative edge of digital assets.

Foster and deepen relationships with key stakeholders, including Financial Advisors, MFO/EAMs, asset managers and private banks.

Direct presentations, roadshows, and webinars to enhance product visibility and encourage adoption.

2. Client-Centric Solutions:

Understand market dynamics, competitor strategies, and client needs in both traditional and digital asset sectors.

Collaborate with the product development team, offering insights to ensure our funds align with client requirements and market demands.

3. Collaborative Teamwork:

Spearhead initiatives in partnership with marketing, research, and product teams to refine sales materials and strategies.

Represent the sales team in regional and global meetings, advocating for best practices and innovative approaches.

4. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to company and regional regulatory standards throughout all sales activities.

Stay abreast of industry changes, regulatory updates, and best practices, ensuring the company’s proactive alignment.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be a successful applicant, you are likely to meet the following criteria:

Have 3-7 years of experience in fund intermediary sales or fund sales to high net worth individuals within a wealth management firm, with a track record of success.

Outstanding relationship management and networking abilities.

Experience with partnering with financial advisors, MFO/EAMs, Private Bankers and Securities Brokers.

Willingness for regional travel as necessary.

Familiarity with digital assets and blockchain technology and/or being a "tech geek" would be an advantage.

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English is required. Mandarin language skills or other regional language skills will be well regarded.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and very comfortable with different technology tools.

Ability to work independently but collaboratively as a team player.
