Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed voyage plans, including route optimization, scheduling, and coordination of vessel operations.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation and permits are in place for each voyage.
- Manage day-to-day operations related to individual voyages, including vessel loading and unloading.
- Coordinate with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth port operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Monitor vessel operations to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of voyage operations, including cargo details, vessel conditions, and port activities.
- Degree or Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimally 2-5 years of experience in dry bulk or MPP/ project owner/carrier.
- Strong understanding of Far East and South East Asia trade patterns
- Experience with IMOS and SEDNA
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
