Due to growth and innovation, we are looking for Junior Business Development to our Sales Team.

The role will include but not be limited to:

  • Obtain new business through prospecting and solution selling
  • Reach out to key decision-makers in target companies through personalized cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Meeting and exceeding KPI's
  • Developing ongoing relationships to ensure you are cross selling and increasing revenue streams for the business
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead conversion rates, revenue growth, and customer retention metrics. Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast future demand, and optimize sales strategies accordingly.
  • Schedule meetings or virtual presentations with qualified leads
  • Coordinate with operations or sales teams to ensure smooth handover and follow-up on meeting outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in global trade patterns. Analyse market data and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with sales managers, account executives, and operations teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities. Coordinate pricing strategies, service agreements, and contract negotiations to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • A business administration, management, marketing diploma is preferred
  • A natural communicator who is engaging and cheerful
  • A proactive mindset, you’ll see what needs to be done, roll up your sleeves, and make sure it happens
  • Attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills (and sometimes patience)
  • An ability to work both independently and collaboratively, within a close-knit team
  • Great time and process management skills to help you manage multiple tasks at once
  • A problem-solver with a drive to learn and take on new challenges in a collaborative and practical way
  • A result-oriented and sales driven fresh graduates are welcome to apply
