Our client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of their business. This role will provide essential IT services and support for employees globally, with a primary focus on the growing APAC teams. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for colleagues across the organisation, managing IT helpdesk tickets and providing basic IT support and administrative tasks.

What you'll do:

As an IT Support Engineer, your role will be critical in keeping our client's business running smoothly. You'll be responsible for providing IT services and support to employees globally, focusing primarily on the growing APAC teams. Your duties will include managing and supporting laptops, mobile devices, software, and office network infrastructure. You'll also have the opportunity to be involved in building and setting up hardware servers, cloud administration, and other I.T related projects.

  • Be the first point of contact for IT Support for teams across the organisation
  • Support and assist the global IT team in day-to-day operations
  • Take ownership of user problems and proactively deal with issues
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware & software issues
  • Support in the testing and roll-out of new hardware and software
  • Contribute to best practices for the global IT Support team

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this IT Support Engineer role brings a wealth of experience from previous roles within an IT Support function. You should have a strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows and Mac Operating Systems. A solid grasp of I.T Security principles is essential, along with networking skills including DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls. Your professional customer service skills will enable you to interact effectively with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience working within an IT Support Function
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Windows and Mac Operating Systems
  • 5 years of relevant technology experience
  • Understanding of I.T Security
  • Networking skills (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls)
  • Professional customer service skills
