Position Summary
This role will support cross-functional initiatives across Samsung’s entire business portfolio from Mobile to Consumer Electronics. While the initial focus is on enhancing customer Post-Purchase Experience (PPX), it is expected to expand over time to become part of the Project Management Office (PMO) for several strategic initiatives. Key activities and responsibilities include:

  • Strategy: Help define strategy to engage Samsung’s existing consumer base and maximize their customer life-time value.
  • Project Management: Manage and support PPX improvement initiatives end-to-end, and closely coordinate with related functions across both, S.E. Asia & Oceania headquarter and 8 regional subsidiaries.
  • Strategic Communication: Regularly prepare leadership updates on project progress and foster buy-in across the organization to advance the PPX agenda.
  • Analysis: Provide timely and insightful analysis for business decision-making involving cross-departmental and multi-functional areas.
Role and Responsibilities
Post-Purchase Experience
  • Manage all aspects related to PPX Onboarding Calls end-to end, including tracking results, reviewing progress with subsidiary teams on regular basis and supporting expansion planning.
  • Track project progress, analyse results and identify key learnings based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Identify current PPX pain points, benchmark best-in-class consumer centric companies and develop an improvement plan to close gaps and enhance customer experience.
  • Promote PPX within the organization and closely co-ordinate with related functions including Customer Service, Retail, Online, Digital Marketing, Logistics and Product Teams.
  • Prepare regular progress reviews to update Leadership team and align key stakeholders on next steps.
  • Pro-actively contribute to team discussions, share perspective on potential opportunities and help further refine them, e.g. through development of business cases and ROI analysis.
  • Support the set up of PPX pilot projects to test out new concepts before scaling them up across the region
Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • BA or equivalent degree is required for this position.
  • 5+ years of work experience, including 2+ years project management experience.
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to efficiently scope and execute concrete strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in aligning and coordinating multi-functional teams with diverse interests toward shared objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including ability to storyline and prepare impactful Powerpoint presentations.
  • Solid Excel skills, including ability to generate actionable insights through data analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior consulting experience (internal or external) is a strong plus.
  • Background in consulting, strategic planning, process innovation and/or loyalty & retention.
  • Knowledge of one or more consumer goods industries, preferably in consumer electronics but not required.
