Job Summary:
As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's operational efficiency to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will play a pivotal role in managing various aspects of the business, including financial performance, customer support, contract management, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Track and report on key financial metrics (e.g., pipeline, TCV, revenue) to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Prepare monthly business reports for executive leadership.
- Manage customer invoicing and collections to minimize outstanding payments.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations, including time sheeting, resource utilization, and customer support.
- Implement and maintain efficient business processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy regulations.
- Customer Support:
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and external support teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction.
- Contract Management:
- Develop and manage contracts with customers and partners.
- Provide legal and commercial advice to the product and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with governance and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of work experience, including at least 5 years in strategy and operations roles within a SaaS or software company.
- MBA preferred with a focus on IT.
- Strong understanding of software and services business models, financial management, and customer support operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with C-level executives.
- Experience in handling customer and vendor contracts, including NDAs and various agreement types.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of ITIL is desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
