Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

• Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally

• Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers

Engage other departments to get referral opportunities

• Business Performance and Management

• Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings so as to be current and proficient in addressing customer’s queries

• Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products and insurance

• Provide sound financial advice and dispensing customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations

• Work towards Preferred Banking’s intended goals

• Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution

Achieve service standards set by the bank

• People Management

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills , self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills

Committed in the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred

• Regulatory Compliance

• Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements

Attend all trainings

• Requirements:

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in any discipline

• Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements

Possess the relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A

• Relevant Work Experience

At least 3 years relevant Sales experience in Retail Banking

• Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Personal Skills (Soft Competencies)

• Service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell

• Strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills
