Overview

We are seeking a computer science specialist capable of performing complex computation modelling for the development of functional human digital twins. This is to support the new digital twin initiatives under GCTO Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop numerical computational models involving finite elements modelling (FEM) to solve complex engineering problems in healthcare
  • Perform detailed design, structural analysis and conduct static and dynamic mechanical simulations on clinical data as part of the digital twin projects - Plan and conduct analysis and modelling of results to verify it meets requirements
  • Deliver on projects involving functional digital twins including the liver, heart, brain, and lung. Work closely with data scientists and software developers in the NUHS Holomedicine and Digital Twin Program team to deliver on translational research and clinical implementation
  • Work closely with team members to implement design improvements based on analysis findings

Requirements

  • Good Honours Degree/BSc/Master MSc/PH.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Communication Technology or related qualification
  • Proven track record in biomechanical research, with outstanding management abilities and a demonstrated track record of leadership.
  • Strong acumen with in-depth understanding of biomechanical engineering and dynamic modelling
  • Able to drive digital twin research and development strategy, design, implementation to deployment
  • Project management capabilities and experience in driving a cohesive team and cross teaming environment
  • Possess confidence to resonate with senior management leadership - internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
  • Good analytical and organization skills
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill
