The Institutional Client Group (ICG) is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Banks. In APAC, we have salespeople located across the regional hubs in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney as well as in several countries across Asia

Your key responsibilities:

  • Main point of coverage of a portfolio of Financial Institution (FI) Clients (Banks, Insurance, CBs/SWFs, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers) in Asia with revenue growth potential across core FIC products (FX, Rates, Credit) & across broader product suite of the bank – accountable for overall revenue growth for this portfolio of clients
  • Senior client coverage and originator to identify opportunities and structure solutions across the FIC product suite in coordination with product sales specialists
  • Advisor and trusted partner for Regional C-Suite and Division Heads / Treasurers of large FIs in the region.
  • Cross-product coordination across the Bank to maximize revenue opportunity
  • Regional & global coordination across Product-Sales & RM team
  • Strategic dialogue with clients to originate new business opportunities and partner to meet their business objectives


Your skills and experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 10 years+ of banking experience in APAC – managing Financial Institution client relationships in a relationship management or product sales specialist function in a global financial institution, with 3 years+ experience in a global/regional role capacity.
  • Strong experience in executing complex deals across FIC products
  • Self-motivation and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment and able to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organisations
