As a Projects Executive, you will be place within the COE department of Fleet Management as understudy in a department focused on enhancing the fleet operational efficiency, innovation, and emissions reporting.

During the 1st month, the scope is as follows:

  • To understand and familiarise organisation policies, vessel operating procedures and management systems. To understand and follow up with the monthly reporting requirements.
  • To understand and follow up on the Operational Efficiency
    • Performance monitoring of the ships.
    • Standardization of the performance by peer-to-peer comparison of the ships and their operating profiles.

During the 2nd -12th month, the scope is as follows:

  • To assist in the Technology and Innovation initiatives
    • Adopting new technologies like Energy Saving Devices, use of new platforms.
    • Digital transformation and migration to high frequency data.
    • Assist in the research and insights from the data generated by the fleet.
  • To assist in the follow up and monitoring of
    • Sustainability and Compliance initiatives. Eg: Environmental compliance.
    • Sustainability initiatives like study for the use of the alternative energy sources.
  • To assist in training and development
    • Knowledge sharing and to prepare the documents to share the best practices with the fleet ships.
  • To learn and assist in Cost Optimization
    • Identify ways to reduce optimise operational costs, such as optimizing lube oil consumptions, hull performance etc.
    • Take part in collaboration with the other departments and functions.

Specific Projects/ Learning Outcomes

  • Perform to assist to reorganise and restructure Planned Maintenance standard Jobs.
  • To provide recommendations for improvement to current ship/office organisation procedures.
  • To provide steps and execute at least one improvement recommendation.

After the first year, we will assess the employee's performance, interests, and the evolving needs of the company to determine opportunities for further growth and development.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime related field.
  • Internship experience in maritime related industry will be an advantage.
  • Able to prioritise workload.
  • Adequate PC knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Proficient in English language.
  • Good communication skills
