Position Overview:
You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing the Target Operating Model to optimize processes, technology, and organizational structure within the investment management framework. Your insights will help shape the firm's operational strategy and enhance our ability to respond to market changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive Target Operating Model that aligns with the firm's strategic goals and enhances operational efficiency.
  • Process Mapping: Analyze and document current operating processes, identifying gaps and inefficiencies to recommend improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and ensure that the TOM supports their needs and objectives.
  • Change Management: Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems, supporting change management initiatives to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the TOM and track improvements in operational performance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the operating model complies with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive practices to inform TOM development.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, communicating findings and recommendations effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, etc.) is a plus.
  • 12-15 years of experience in operations, strategy, or consulting within the financial services or investment management industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solid understanding of operational processes and efficiency methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools and project management software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to investment management operations.
