Responsibilities

  • This position is for Dato' Kho Hui Meng Career Centre (DKHMCC).
  • Develop and implement marketing strategy to promote the services and resources offered by Dato' Kho Hui Meng Career Centre (DKHMCC); Perform data analytics to evaluate effectiveness of marketing plan.
  • Manage all digital, social and print media contents including overseeing the editorial content of the Career Guide Yearbook to stakeholders to increase awareness, build brand preference and affinity to DKHMCC.
  • Implement strategies and business development plans to establish strong partnerships with corporates, professional associations, industry partners, alumni chapters and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies in generating internship and employment opportunities for SMU postgraduate students from local and overseas-based employers (e.g. Greater China) to drive internship and employment placement numbers.
  • Curate and manage assigned career-related events for Postgraduates (e.g. alumni networking events).
  • Represent/support Postgraduate Career Services at events including information sessions, corporate/industry events and selected external events to promote Career Services and drive placement outcomes.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in digital marketing, such as Google Analytics, is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Digital Marketing and Lead Generation, with a proven track record of success in driving measurable results. (Experience in a university setting would be advantageous).
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and related tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Experience with performance marketing metrics and optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of web CMS (e.g., Wordpress), marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Calendly) and familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) is essential. Knowledge of programming languages or technical tools used in marketing automation and website optimization is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, exceptional communication and presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of B2B and B2C lead generation strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and able to manage multiple priorities within given timeframe.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Xiumi and Canva to create attractive posters, emailer and edit videos for social media marketing.
  • Capable of independently create e-newsletter, e-mailers, collecting materials, copywriting, and operate media campaigns to generate leads.
